| Designed as the largest, most powerful satellite in the SES fleet, SES-4 is being built for SES WORLD SKIES, a subsidiary of SES. SES-4 will expand and enhance SES WORLD SKIES' ability to provide Fixed Satellite Services (FSS) to the Americas, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Scheduled for launch in 2010, SES-4 is designed to be located at 338 degrees east, one of the most highly demanded orbital locations for transatlantic traffic. |
